Friend and TN RealNet Member Barry Dotson Dies

A Murfreesboro Realtor and member of the Tennessee Real Estate Network, who has dedicated the past few years of his life to encouraging others to sign-up to be organ donors passed away on Thursday (10/15/09) at Alive Hospice Residence. Barry Dotson sold and developed real estate since 1968. He developed over twelve million square feet of retail space valued at over one billion dollars during his career.

Barry’s life was lengthened as a result of an organ transplant. After that he developed a passion to spread the word about the importance of signing the driver’s license donor agreement, but he told that it was even more important to let your family members and friends know your desires to be an organ donor.

Barry Dotson is survived by his wife of 42-years Camille Dotson; sons, Kevin (Catherine) Dotson of Atlanta; Steven (Jean Alyne) Dotson of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Margaret, Charlotte, Sarabelle, Suzy, Jack; sister, Angie Mangrum of Parsons; and brother, Jerry (Jackie) Dotson of Jackson, TN.
